VOLBEAT TOUR STATESIDE

The European Metal scene has always been well respected around the world and many American Metal-heads pride themselves in checking out the latest and greatest metal acts from European shores. Volbeat are set to add to the list of bands from Denmark who have developed a following in America and their 2010 album 'Beyond Hell / Above Heaven' is the perfect platform for the band to raise the roof on their forthcoming tour.

Previous support slots set the scene

Many US Metal-heads may have caught band back in 2009 when they supported Metallica alongside Lamb of God. That’s the sort of show that gives a band exposure that many other acts can only dream about but this is a great occasion for Volbeat to deliver up their own show and prove they have what it takes to produce a headline show.

More than 20 shows on the tour

Volbeat may not have rocked America too often but their reputation in Europe is growing with the act being a household name in the Scandinavian countries and well known and respected throughout mainland Europe and the UK. With over 20 dates in Canada and the United States in March and April, they will likely return to Europe with a bigger band of followers across the Atlantic as well.

The tour begins and ends in New York at the NY Irving Plaza, with the two shows coming almost a month apart. The Damned Things and Hourcast are the support acts for the tour, which is sure to experience a noisy month.
